life interpreted
My journey in the art world has continued all throughout my life; from a young adult to now. Art is my way of expressing myself, announcing my feelings to the world without exactly spelling it out. I'm a hard to gauge person. My work is typically a direct representation of what I see in the world. I work a lot from observation as well as memory. Recently my art has taken on a new meaning as I've decided to capture my late mother's spirit and use her as inspiration for many of my works. My mother's belongings and love of certain places keep my brain searching for ideas of how to create the perfect piece in my eye. My mom was the only person I shared my love of art with so I strive to make her proud everyday.
